Friends

I met her soon after her return to Poland.

Shy, full of doubt. With complicated family relationships, with a father hard to "equate" with. Moreover, people constantly confused her with her sister, Agata. At the time she started writing books. With this writing she was settling her life. I could see how it made her grow, it was building her up. I have always been impressed by how she created herself. And then she started travelling. No longer to Zakopane or Paris. Much further. These trips are the second thing that created her. As in writing, she discovered herself in them.

Paulina Młynarska is my friend, my handy encyclopedia,

sometimes my therapist and sometimes my patient, depending on how long she’s sitting on the barricades. I like singing Polish songs with her and joking, she is very intelligent, so she can accept every joke. I’m waiting for her to calm down, stop fighting, and start writing a novel, but of all the above probably only the novel is real.

Paulina is a wise girl, or actually a witch who can cast a charm.

After spending even a little time with her, you feel like being a better person, working on yourself, you gain new energy and feel you can move mountains! Her optimism, honesty towards herself and the world, her diligence and enthusiasm are inspiring and contagious! She is the most understanding and observing person I know. I could go forever – and I know what I write, because we know each other for a long time and we are close friends. :)

Transcontinental element, strength of femininity,

humour, energy, and the most beautiful blue eyes in the world. If I believed in god, I would thank them for the pride march where I met you. But I do not believe in god, so I thank you, Paulina.

Paulina Młynarska? Perceived by many as the woman of steel,

of marble, a relentless and uncompromising warrior. I see in her a beautiful and sensitive woman, subconsciously delicate with a rich imagination. Her sense of humour, intelligence, and extraordinary character allow her to see more, to catch distance to sometimes unbearable reality. To have such a buddy is a treasure.

Paulina is a Strongwoman.

Not because she struggles with her own body doing yoga. She struggles with the world, on her own. She fights alone, without milieus or support of her girl posse. That’s why I adore her – for her courage. And talent – because those who never seen Paulina singing her songs, don’t know that Poland is a woman. And exactly such woman – during the uprisings, wars, partitions, Law and Justice governments, when women in mansions, salons, and cottages gave advice with wit, intelligence, and talent. And with a bang! Oh, Paulina, may you live now and in the next incarnations, let the destiny favour you, and karma rewards you with Michelin stars.

Paulina Młynarska is a spiritual guide for Polish women

who are tired of being kept on a leash. She exhorts us to not be quiet if we feel we are sitting on hot bricks. She hits with the truth as accurately as Janosik with his axe – straight in the eye. And equally to all who deserve it with their ill treatment of women – both to the right and to the left. She’s wise, funny, and brave. The best.

There are people that make you want to live.

Paulina is such a person. Not only is she wise, good, and beautiful, but also beams with energy. She is one big "you can do it!" and "it’s worth it!". Lots of love to you, Paulina!

Demanding and inspiring. Brave. Uncompromising.

Forces you to think. God, how I hate it! She looks into my eyes and asks difficult questions that I have to answer for myself. Belts out her Dad’s songs. Breaks into a dance, sometimes breaking a leg. Laughs out with all of herself. Loves good, sublime, light jokes – that's why she loves me! She doesn’t allow me to think and talk bad about myself. Believes in me like no other. Sells her best ideas to me. Kicks my ass when I’m lounging around on the couch with a fly-catcher. She annoys me with her vitality. No idea why but she’s eternally young! Not permanently, I hope! Meanwhile, she’s my Best Friend!
